Onboard the Apogee
Apogee comes from Codecasa, an Italian yard with a long record of building custom steel superyachts, and at 62.5 metres she carries that heritage in her proportions rather than in any single showpiece feature. Seven cabins are set aside for up to 12 guests, a ratio that leaves real room to spread out rather than share tight corners, and the scale of the hull gives a settled, quiet ride even when conditions on the Costa del Sol turn choppy.
A yacht of this length is not really built for a short afternoon loop out of Puerto Banús and back. Apogee suits point-to-point cruising: a departure from Puerto Banús heading west toward Estepona, or further on toward the Gibraltar Strait for guests who want a longer run and are working with an experienced captain on the currents and timing that crossing needs. Because the distances and fuel involved on these longer routes are considerably higher than a coastal day out, we talk through realistic fuel and APA numbers with guests before departure rather than leaving it vague.
Seven cabins make Apogee a natural fit for multi-generation family charters or for a company bringing a small executive group together for several days rather than a single lunch. Superyacht berths in Puerto Banús need to be secured well ahead of the summer months, so guests planning a Marbella charter on Apogee are better served booking early, particularly if the trip is set for July or August.
