Onboard the Sunseeker 115
At 35 metres, the Sunseeker 115 carries a genuine sense of space rather than scale for its own sake. The bow lounge gives couples or small groups a quiet spot forward, away from the aft cockpit where al fresco dining is set for slower lunches. A sundeck spa pool sits above, and the swim platform aft lowers guests straight to the water without the scramble some smaller yachts require. Below, five cabins sleep up to twelve guests comfortably, so the boat suits a full family group as easily as two couples spreading out.
Based out of Marbella, the Sunseeker 115 is capable of more than a short loop past Puerto Banús. At a cruising speed of around 23 knots, a run west toward Estepona and Casares is well within a day's reach, opening up quieter beaches and the snorkelling grounds near Punta de la Chullera without eating into the afternoon. Guests who prefer to stay out longer can extend into a two- or three-day route, with provisioning arranged in advance so the galley is stocked before departure rather than improvised at sea.
The five-cabin layout works well for an extended family taking the yacht for several days, or for a corporate group wanting a full day on the water without shuttling guests between smaller boats. Fuel consumption on a 35-metre motor yacht running at cruising speed is a meaningful part of the overall cost, particularly on longer coastal runs, so we set out realistic APA and fuel estimates before booking rather than leaving them as a surprise on the final invoice.
